Matt Lyford
Certified Personal Trainer

Matt Lyford has been training people one on one since 1975. Matt is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as well as Master and founder of his own style of martial arts. He is also an accomplished bicyclist, surfer, boat builder, artist, and sailor. Over the years Matt has worked with men and women of all ages and backgrounds. His training specialty is to start where you are, finding the approach that works best for your individual body and personality and could include a mix of: general fitness and lifestyle management, martial arts techniques, self defense, and meditation, weight training, flexibility training, body building, bicycle riding, running, power walking etc.


Matt’s philosophy is that we are physical animals that need regular exercise to maintain balance in our lives. Matt makes the training fun and interesting by engaging the client’s intellect and by varying the workout with imaginative new ideas. Matt believes in training for a lifetime and that consistency over time is the best course. Matt believes strongly in the non-linear or instinctive training principle where we learn our own patterns of energy out put and recovery.

Angela Petrigni,
Certified Personal Trainer

Angela Petrigni has been training people of all fitness levels since 2005. She has four years of experience working in a physical therapy clinic training clients from age 5 through 78 years old. She was also the Assistant Director for a strength and conditioning camp for junior high and high school athletes.

Angela holds a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology and an Associate’s Degree in Exercise Science.  Angela is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist as well as a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the American Council on Exercise. She also continues her education by attending seminars and reading numerous books on the topic of nutrition and exercise. 

Angela is an avid hiker and rock climber in the New England area. She has completed all of the NH 48 4,000 footers and is working on the New England 100 highest.  Angela has also participated in many 5k and 8k road races and a few dualthlons. She also enjoys golfing, kayaking, biking, skiing and weight lifting.  When she has free time, Angela also volunteers at the NHSPCA.
